caring for your stained glass

 - Suction cups are not recommended as they will eventually fail, causing damage to the glass.

- Hooks, eye hooks and/or chains are the most secure way to hang your stained glass suncatcher or panel. It is best to hang from a secured material such as a wall stud or wooden window frame.

- The Stained Glass Association of America recommends minimal cleaning.  Occasional dusting is ok.  When cleaning is necessary, please use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the glass.  Cleaners and chemicals are not recommended as they can damage the lead, solder, patina and glass.

- Stained glass is made with lead.  It is only absorbed through ingestion and inhalation but to be safe please wash hands after hanging your glass.
